2-12-69 is indeed very nice--hadn't listened to that one in a while. Thanks for the ref. Long opening 8-beat section with Bob/Phil jam--Jerry break a string? No surprise that Cliff likes this one, as Jerry's jamming has a 1968 quality, with little rubato or variation in dynamics, but an endless string of inventive note combinations. There's also a killer solo in the Death Don't Have No Mercy that follows. Well worth a listen!
